Description
Greenworks robotic lawnmower Optimow10
Advanced robotic lawnmower for medium-sized and large lawns up to 1,000 m2
Greenworks Optimow10 is a fully automated lawn robot for professional care of lawns up to 1,000 m2. Installation is easy as everything you need is included in the kit. Simply install the boundary cable and connect it to the base station.
The Optimow10 mows the lawn on a pre-set schedule, charging when needed. With a GSM-enabled app, you can control it from anywhere if you want to change the mowing time when needed, and built-in lift and collision sensors to keep you safe at all times.
Advanced and Quiet Operation
The advanced design of the Greenworks Optimow10 is suitable for medium to large lawns up to 1,000 m2 (nearly 4 tennis courts). Despite its ability to cover larger areas, the machine is highly manoeuvrable, and its exceptionally low operating noise means you’ll forget its even there.
Full Control from the Greenworks App
The Optimow10 lawn robot can be controlled and updated via the GSM Greenworks app, where you can monitor the device and change settings and schedules from anywhere in the world. The machine is preloaded with a sim card which can be topped up when required.
Safe & Smart
The Optimow10 robotic lawnmower is designed with safety in mind, featuring an integrated lift sensor that automatically stops the blades when the device is lifted. The collision sensors allow Optimow to recognise obstacles, with the machine stopping and turning away to mow elsewhere. Thanks to rain and frost sensors, the Optimow 10 lawn robot is not only safe, but also smart to ensure that the lawn is only mowed in the right conditions, and the integrated geo-zone protection sends notifications if the device leaves its zone.
How does it work?
The idea is simple: the wire limits the perimeter of your lawn. this can be pegged into the lawn or buried, When the Optimow10 lawn robot is installed, it mows the lawn in a random pattern, and the lawn takes on a carpet-like appearance. For complex garden shapes, the optional guide wire allows the Optimow to easily navigate back to the base station for charging.
How does it know where it has already cut?
The Optimow10 lawn robot does not know where it has cut, and it does not need to. By mowing a random pattern regularly, it covers the whole lawn easily only ever cutting very small amounts at a time, leaving a perfectly level surface.
How does it charge?
The Greenworks Optimow10 robotic lawnmower knows when the battery is running low and automatically returns to the base station to recharge before resuming mowing when it’s ready.
Where do the grass clippings go?
The cutting method is ‘little and often’ which leaves very small grass clippings which fall down to the grass roots and are not visible to the eye. This grass then naturally decomposes and acts as a fertiliser, giving a healthier and greener looking lawn.
How often does it need to mow?
Depending on the size of your lawn, set a mowing schedule in the Greenworks app and the Optimow 10 robotic lawnmower will automatically follow that schedule.
