A. You should always store the battery indoors in a dry environment. Storage temperature should be between 5°C and 35°C to extend the service life. Never store in direct sunlight or near heat sources. For a longer storage period, we recommend charging the battery to at least 40%. capacity.

Q. What is the best way to charge the battery?

A. The battery should only be charged indoors at a temperature between +5 °C and +45 °C, as high and low temperatures may activate and deactivate the battery protection system for safety reasons. A lithium-ion battery works best when its charge level is between 30 and 60 percent. In the case of Greenworks batteries, this corresponds exactly to the two illuminated LEDs on the charge level indicator or percentage on the screen. So, unlike an old battery, a lithium-ion battery makes sense to charge briefly at intervals.

Q. How long will it take to change the battery?

A. Although batteries are classified as consumables, if you store them properly, they should last for at least 1,000 cycles (a cycle is a charge from 0 to 100 percent). The average user will get many years of use.
